Bombing Hills with Steve.

Goodbye material world! from SPONTAZY on Vimeo.

This is Steve, some of you may also know Steve by the name of "Venom" a character of sorts that would suddenly appear at many a great skate sessions over the years.

I heard earlier this year Venom was hanging up his hat. However, just before we all could shed a tear, SPONTAZY was born. You may find this all amusing, I know, it's a bit silly, and it's suppose to be. But Steve's genuine about his goofing, and it has earned him sponsor ships with Emerica shoes and Bones wheels. Hell he even had his own board out at one point!

See, sometimes sponsorship in skateboarding isn't about being the best skateboarder on the planet. Sometimes it's about being so unique that people want to support your creativity.

One more thing, the real reason for this post is because this is where I learned to bomb hills. It's a park just outside of my home town of Lincoln NE. And yes, those "gaps" in the sidewalk will pitch you off your board face first into the grass.
