Bill Danforth's Shoes for Sale?

WTF. It's insane how much people are paying for old skate boards! I just can't encourage people to spend a bunch of money on a skateboard that will never be ridden! What I find most interesting is that the old pros are getting in on the action. Shouldn't that be a clear indication that these things have little actual value!

That said, I am pretty geeked by these, they have to be the rarest of the rare?

And, I guess it's cool that Dan is actually selling these himself.
And, they are my size after all.

Todd Congelliere had street skills too.

Saw this posted on Good Problem. Happy to know someone else still appreciates Todd's style.

Glad I bought my reissue of Todd's "Icee Bear" deck when I did. Looks like they are no longer available.

Lance Mountain wore a "Cosby Sweater" in Animal Chin.
See this and more by visiting what could possibly turn into the coolest Web site on the Web :www.lancemountain.com

I'm Geeked.

25mm Lens=Self Portraits at 7am.

Put it in your pocket and always have it with you=random photos while riding shotgun.

I'm geeked, I found a Panasonic FX35 "Demo" through B&H photo. That means "open box special".

Which means I'm broke now, but I have a camera I can put in my pocket and take EVERYWHERE I go.

Oh yes, this ought to be fun.

GUMPTION

I was just getting homesick when I remembered what my friends back home in good ol' Lincoln Nebraska get to skate on the daily...

This seriously is worst place I have ever legally skated.

I understand how hard everyone has worked to make these two places happen. I'm not knocking it, I damn sure wish they would have existed when I was growing up in Lincoln.

That said, if there ever was a time for me to look back and say, "I wish I knew then what I know now" it would be this moment.

Ok, here's my rant: Linconites, you can't take this crap any longer! You need a concrete skateboard park!

I was recently reminded after "noticing" a four foot quarter pipe and a very nicely constructed ledge near downtown Athens that there is something we as skateboards all posses and that's gumption.

Build it.... even if you only have it for a few weeks it's worth the work. Oh and for god sakes don't tell anyone your building it!!!

Find a spot, dig, pour, skate.

Someone please pour some damn concrete in Lincoln......
